Sea Guard Coal Tar Epoxy
This is a two pack high performance top coat Based on Epoxy resin blended with special coal tar. Chemical resistance and Saline water resistance of Epoxy Resin makes this coating highly saline waterproof top coat. Its excellent resistance to saline water properties are ideal for marine environment.
AREA OF APPLICATION:
It is used on all iron & steel, concrete and wooden surfaces of all river or sea-going vessels, pontoons, sea-shore structures etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface must be properly cleaned and free from rust, old paints, grease, wax, salt deposit or other contaminants. Repair surface defects before painting.
APPLICATION METHOD
Always stir paint properly before use. Mix paint with Curing Agent (Hardener) at 2:1 ratio by volume. Apply by brush or roller after thinning 8-10% by vol. with Roxy Epoxy Thinner. Mixed paint must be used off with in 6 hrs approximately. Apply 2 coats of this finish paint Check proper drying before next coat. This paint can be applied by spray after proper thinning.
